fischer Thermax 8 and 10

The new fischer Thermax solves a problem that has prevented any efficient building insulation (ETICS). Thermal insulation has hitherto been mounted using the classic stand-off installation method, with space tubes or wooden blocks as standard. In actual fact, however, every threaded rod inserted or bracket fixed entails a hole in the thermal insulation.

Not so with fischer Thermax. fischer Thermax uses a glass-fibre reinforced high-performance plastic anti-cold cone to interrupt the heat flow through the threaded rod. The cone is selftapping, and during installation cuts its own way through the plaster into the insulation. This allows economic installation without the need for special tools.
