New COMPUFIX version 8.4 in the Windows Vista ® - Layout

The story continues!

The well-known fischer COMPUFIX design program is now available as a fully revised version 8.4. The interface of the program in the new Windows Vista layout is as user-friendly and intuitive as its predecessor.

Layout in the Vista-Look

COMPUFIX 8.4 is compatible with the Windows 2000®, Windows XP®, Windows Vista® and Windows 7® operating systems.

Large buttons/boxes

The programme is controlled via a menu bar and so-called “ribbon bars” taken from Windows VistaÒ. They replace the symbol bar of Windows versions and offer large, generous boxes and buttons.

3D-navigation

The Tab "Anchor Plate" allows you to enter details on component edges, the selected profile and its position, and on the type of load. This group also features commands for the 3D drawings.

You can move the 3D drawing in the drawing field with the left mouse button.	You can rotate the 3D drawing in the drawing with the right mouse button.

Input Assistent

The result window shows all the information necessary for the design, itemised by tension load, shear load and combined tension and shear load, as well as all modes of failure. If no valid result is shown, for instance because the conditions of the approval are not met, the Result window will show a detailed error list with details on how to remedy the error.

System requirements:

RAM: at least 512 MB (1024 MB recommended)
