The new fischer Thermax solves a problem posed by any efficient building insulation system (ETICS). Up until now, awnings have been installed using classical stand-off installation methods such as spacing tubes or wooden blocks. Every threaded rod inserted or bracket fixed entails a hole in the thermal insulation. Not with fischer Thermax, though.
